We arrived in Delhi in a 19th century smog Dickens would have revelled in. It was a veritable pea soup and made international news. Stoic as ever our group continued as normal taking a tour of old Delhi by rickshaw, joining the mayhem of Delhi traffic, experiencing the chaos on the roads accompanied by the constant beeping of horns.
The early arrivals had already been out to see the Qutub Minar returning in tuk tuks racing along the busy highways.
Soon after the arrival of the last of the participants we had the rally briefing and then set off for our first introduction to Indian dancing. This was a traditional style dancing followed by an Indian style BBQ.
During the day our local Toyota Fortuner fleet arrived at the hotel giving us time to inspect and get to know them.
The following night we visited the Kingdom of Dreams to see a Bollywood inspired musical with plenty of exaggerated action and spectacular dances as one would expect from such an extravaganza.
